I've got 2 Dreamcasts, but neither of them have working A/V cable Basically I want to mod one of them so it has female composite inputs in the back. I found the outputs of the Dreamcast, http://www.gamesx.com/wiki/doku.php?id=av:dreamcastav but just wanted to ask a question. To wire this up, would I solder one leg of the female plug to an output (audio/video) then the other leg to ground? If not, how?

Found out the easy way, hack the actual cable. I checked the cable and it had the same outputs as I needed. So all I did was chop the cable apart below the boxy thing(Composite to A/V converter) and found out the cables were coloured Red, white and yellow. So I just soldered the wires to 3 comosite male plugs and it works
I modded rca jacks for video and audio on the back of my dc about a week ago. My brother and I both have dc's but he didn't get an a/v cable with his,now we can play at the same time, and I can use a ps1 screen with less wire mess. I can post pictures if you like.
It is called a NESp. Just say pNES, you'll know why it is NESp. --vskid
