School shooting

A girl was shot in the head and is in critical condition. Some news shows are saying that she is dead, but are waiting for confirmation.

Weird thing is, that this was down the street from Comlumbine.

I will never understand why people choose to end their lives and the lives of others in such incredibly stupid ways, that are devoid of pretty much any meaning. How sad.

"The terminator caused it"
or
"saints row caused it"
or
"quake caused it"

and BTW, jack thompson is anti-video game because he failed at donkey kong when he was younger.

That sucks. Why couldn't the idiot have just killed himself if he wanted to kill someone. Why did he ruin countless more people's lives? Or why not just kill no one, thats even better.

Yeah, I've been following this story for a while. It's terrible, really. He actually released almost all of the hostages, so it's lucky more weren't killed. The odd thing is that the shooter was a grown man, not a student or faculty member; what was the motive?

Insane. The reason he stormed a school was to make himself famous. He wanted his fifteen minutes of fame. He probably thought he'd be able to walk away from it and still be able to snicker when it showed up on TV. When he realised that the police were getting ready to shoot him, he freaked. Probably when his demands became simply "Back the hell off". Then when the police stormed in, he wanted to take as many lives as possible in order to increase his fame and then turned it on himself.

Well looks like someone couldn't focus his anger inward and commite suicide, the civilized way. Instead he had to be someone that had to get everyone invloved in his frustration and before he took the coward's way out shoot people. Really if I had the chance to get my hands on people like this I would end up beating them to within an inch of their life. Then ask them "How'd that feel? I bet it's similar to how the people you shot felt." Then pick and beat the crap out of him more.

Well, earlier there was a show asking how anyone could get near to a school with a gun unnoticed. Of course, no one was looking outside at the time with this guy, but for anyone sneaking in here's a badly made and very over-exagerated example (Though it proves the point):

That dude on the video had enough guns to start his own army! No room for ammo though, so he'd lose fast. They could never have metal detectors at my school, there are way to many entrances. It wouldn't be that hard to get guns in, you could likely get in without even attempting to hide the gun. My dad said that no one but cops really need handguns (he has one though) because they are too easy to hide, a rifle is a lot more obvious.
