question about fans...

Post by geekbait111 »

Hi hi,
I have some questions about a fan in my portable...
1) do you think if you play a console for about 3 hours with a fan would be good?
2) where would you install it?
3) what are the advantage about fans?
-Thanks!, I'm curious cause I've been reading some stuff in the forums...

It depends on what console you're talking about. The newer consoles generally need either a big heatsink, or a small heatsink and fan.
Anything before a N64 doesn't need a fan, anything including the N64 and after generally needs a fan.

oh... in that case I don't think I'll need it because my gamecube already has a fan and a heatsink (I just learned :D ) and my other console is much older than an N64, so ok thanks!
