It being thanksgiving and all I was in the kitchen helping my fiancee make mashed potatoes when I noticed that the cutting board was a 1/2 inch thick piece of polyethylene. I then realized that my search for the perfect piece of polyethylene on ebay was over so I went to my local Bed Bath and Beyond and purchased the largest thickest cutting board they had, it was around $15. Now I can now use my Dremel tool to machine a custom front to my otherwise bland radioshack case. I have 5 papers due at school next week but hopefully I will get to go to work on this soon.

how thick is the one you bought?

It is 3/8" which is a whole lot better than the 1/8" pieces of acrylic I was trying to use, does anyone know what kind of glue you can use on acrylic?

^no! use high temp hot glue! it REALLY sticks the arcrylic together. its the yellow hot glue and its REALLY strong (and cheap for people like me

its cheap, but MAN IT STICKS. i REALLY had to pry to unstick something!
