It looks like the best place to find them right now is eBay... most websites selling them want $15+shipping, where you can find them for about half that on eBay even with Buy-it-Now. But going to Gamestop wouldn't hurt if they still carry Genesis stuff at yours.

phew...I have a Genesis game genie.....

and since most of you Radica modders need a Genesis slot anyway, you can wire the GG right to the Radica board and use the GG slot normally.

see every one also asked where to get a cart slot for the NOACs i'm just using a nes cart slot (with push down spriggy action!) yeah and old busted segas are much easyr to find than any thing else (if i didnt like SNES i would have buckets of gens). also the top loader part of the gens make them better to do this with!

Well, you'd only want to wire it up directly if you never wanted to use your GG elsewhere ever again. But it would probably be good to get an extra one for this purpose, I think.
cennar: But half the point of getting something other than an NES is to avoid that crap spring mechanism. I'm not saying it's not worthwhile to use a 72-pin adapter from an NES- in fact, you could break it in half and the wires would be in an excellent position to make a portable from, since it'd have the U-shape already.

Getting one for chritmas. How do i know. Well my sister asked what I wanted that costs under $30 so I couldnt get a videogame so I thoght a Radica Genesis and she went and bought it

i like my noac portable im making... its got a 2inch screen and "shots" carts out the bottom with sprinngy acuracy.

any way i just got back from getting a gen on a chip so ill be doing my best to make one tonight! I dont have a screen resrved for it right now but restasured ill jam the thing in to my pc to take screen shots...

@Red5 - hallo! I'm also in the U.K. and my main hobbies are electronics and modding consoles (Heh, you should see my XBOX in a mini-ATX case - SWEET!)

Anyhow...for all you in the U.K. - the Radica is sold by Argos for Â£19.99

Also, the best place to buy electronics stuff (like desoldering braid and solder pumps) is Maplin electronics...when they have the stock!
