All that means is that you take the Nintendo GC plug that goes to your TV, and snip off the ends. The bundle of wires on the outside is the ground, and there should be another wire wrapped in the ground wires, this is the center of the RCA jack.

Solder the wires from the controller ports to the corresponding places on the bottom of the first player controller port, the make a switch the switches the grounds, by putting the ground from the actual port on one end of an SPDT, and the pin coming from the controller to the opposite end, and the pin in between going to ground.

Why are you having problems understanding this? The corresponding places are where ever you're sending the video signal.

No, he's talking about the controller port thing.

The corresponding places are the pins on the controller board under the first player port.
