Sky, can you go into detail on what types of things you could do for the online porta-con?

I'll take whatever ideas anyone has to offer, because I'm open really, it's just an idea.

Some things we should all take into consideration:

1. Webcam - Optional - Buy this! $10! - Can be password protected
2. Microphone - Same as webcam - The link to the webcam above has a built-in mic

I'll make that the official list, throw some ideas at me and I'll add them

And as for the webcam thing: Demonstration - Skytroniks.com

There's a demo, with audio and video, if you have a webcam. It'll ask you if you want to allow skytroniks.com to access your webcam and microphone, click YES for the sake of this application (unless you or your parents do not want you to have you webcam to have the possibility of being hacked - but you may be able to trust me).

Thought some of you would like to look at this. This is the benheck.com map. So for those of you that still think we should have the convention set outside the Mid-West this will prove we have more members there.

The Virtual-Con is a great idea!

Here's some pointers:

- Webcam and Mic Optional
- Has text chat capabilities
- Allows users to create their own booth to show stuff
- Allows users to create a profile with a picture and stuff.
- We do it on the weekend, considering how many people will have school I don't want to do it during the week. Also, does 9:00 PM EST work for everybody? That's around 7:00 PM my time (MNT), which is ideal for me.
I'd imagine right now you wish you were a cuttlefish...

Either over the summer, maybe in March. It depends on how much features will be put in. I'm starting the login script now.

Me! And could we have a store section, too? I know a lot of collectors like to sell their stuff, me included.

The store is a great idea, im sure everyone here would have stuff to sell. So yeah, this needs to be stickified, and should there be a sign up list somewhere for people who will be participating?

I think he means that when it happens it will be on a saturday. Not this upcoming saturday, he needs time to make the program.
