Here are the steps (For Everything):

Get WindowBlinds (You may need to use *insert illegal download site here*)
Get Objectdock (Optional, it's the Dock)
Get Thoosje Sidebar 2
Get AeroGlass 4 Skin for WindowBlinds
Get a Vista Wallpaper (Example)

1) Install all of those programs, then install the AeroGlass Skin in WindowBlinds.
2) Set your Background Image to your Vista looking wallpaper.
3) Configure Skin, Dock, and Sidebar to your liking

You can also use the Vista Transformation pack instead of window blinds, saves a lot of hassle and you don't need to keep running programs to keep it looking good.

I Just patched my UXTheme.dll so I can use custom themes. I think that is what the Transformation Pack does.

I got a Toshiba Satellite for Christmas, with Vista (all the laptops in the area apparently came with Vista only), and you know, it's works really nicely. It runs Firefox beautifully, WMP works great, runs all my PS1 games full speed, everything works great, and it has never crashed on me.

So I don't know what you guys are doing wrong. Vista has given me no problems whatsoever.

Yup. Been around longer than all you young whippersnappers. In fact, I've been on the forums since before these forums existed (and let me say, the new forums are much more organized). Of course now that I'm a Naval Nuclear ET in-training, I've found much less time to browse the internets that in days past. Also 4chan has yet to let go of me.

You don't use anything to get a task bar on the second monitor? I have been using ultramon and its nice, I just use my second monitor mostly for AIM.

Well I'm back to using XP again. I turned off all the visual enhancements and am using the classic theme. I did however change a registry setting so that all of the GUI is flat instead of 3D.

No, Windows Classic with everything disabled but drop shadows, solid dragging, and font smoothing FTW.

Hm? Yes I do - I use Ultramon. Can't you see the task bar down there? I just had nothing on that monitor at that time.
