Trust me, its not as easy as you think, you have to know what exactly to put into the hex code.

Exactly, and if you overwrite something that shouldn't be overwritten your screwed. (because you either replaced binary code that shouldn't of been replaced or made the file larger, which is a no-no)
I'd imagine right now you wish you were a cuttlefish...
