Where's the irony now?

I never claimed you said that stuff in my previous post. :? It's called paraphrasing.
Bwhahaha. I forgot that person called "Nintendo". You know, with the personal attacks and all.

Ohhhh the kind of paraphrasing with quote marks in it? Thus it being a quote?

Ok, i'll take that.

EDIT: And now i'm going to sleep. By the way, you can ban me all you like. But I have not attacked anyone. I have not stated a preference in console. I have done nothing to deserve to be banned anyways. If I do get banned, I don't really care, you're just being unjust to yourself in the end.

"Nice job retard" was aimed directly at me, for casually referring to the Wii as... well, the Wii.

No it wasn't. Reading back, I thought it may be, but it actually wasn't. Maybe we should both structure our sentences a bit better ... or check the facts. I'm glad that's settled. Bye.

NES_fanatic wrote:You don't need to go to all the threads concerning Wii and state how you don't like it. Just do us all a favor and take the stage, right here right now, and tell us exactly why you dislike it. But there's just one important hing you must keep in mind to make a sound/non-fanboy argument: use logic. You can't proove that one thing sucks because something else is good. So it's illogical to say "Wii sucks because Sony/Microsoft/Intellivision rules".
Lets hear some reasoning to why is stinks in your opinion.....
*Aims spotlight*
Ok. I'll start. For one, Nintendo have some weird traditions ... like you've all heard of 'communist mario'. That's just the start of it. Nintendo only have one thing and that's their consoles, if they screw that up, they're completely dead (finally!). Sony and Microsoft could easily quit the gaming market and still live. Nintendo were good until the GC came out, after that they became completely lame. First off, thanks for alienating the market here and calling the next console "Wii". Nice job retard.

Next ... The made Zelda Windwaker, now what was that about? Cell shading? I don't think it is no. Comparing that game to Ocarina of Time ... OoT wins hands down. They change too much and lose their fans in the process. Also, nice one in releasing the GC without DVD support. You know it's now the cheapest console to buy. You may say, oh yay, cheap. It's cheap cause nobody wants it anymore. It's obsolete.

Nintendo have changed from making their games for all ages to making them for kids. Their whole market depends on 5 to 12 year olds. If your company depends on 5-12 year olds ... you need to do some rethinking.

You're right though, I don't want to start a lam flamewar ... you know, with that crappy remote prototype controller. That's how they think now. That's how bad they've gotten.
Okay, I've been watching this guy for a while now, and I figured I might as well set his all-knowing ass straight  !

First of all, Microsoft and Sony CAN'T take on the gaming industry themselves. Here's why:
The Xbox 360, although it has somewhat of a following here in the states, is complete bull in the eyes of a Japanese audience, so we won't even count it in the running for overseas sales. Also, there is no doubt that one 3rd party developer has kept Sony going all these years; that developer is, of course, Square-Enix. However, SE recently announced that it's bestselling Dragon Quest series will find a new home on the Wii. If this move works, and becomes permanent, Sony will ultimately fall to the Wii. Sony recently announced that the technology in their "boomerang" is nearly identical to that of the Wii controller; I smell a lawsuit! So let's see; that leaves the Wii to dominate Japan, and most likely outsell both the PS3 (for reasons previously stated) and the Xbox 360 here in the states. And FYI, the GC outsold the Xbox worldwide as of January 2006. Sorry, bud.

As far as your LoZ complaints go, that's OF COURSE your personal opinion that you are trying to twist into fact. Love it or hate it, Wind Waker was a smash hit, so stop complaining. It's not like it's "morally upsetting" or anything. And if you truly do have that big a problem with a cell-shaded Link, guess what: Twilight Princess is coming out! So just play that. Jeez  .

And don't give me this "Nintendo for Kidz" crap. Let's see here.....RE4, EVERY new Metroid title, Baten Kaitos, Tales of Symphonia, just to name a few. Although Nintendo's target audience is mostly the younger gamer, the do still offer a wide range of more mature games; and even moreso now that Nintendo's got SE.

I'd also doubt that Nintendo would piss away their entire next-gen console on a poorly manufactured controller. They've come so far already, and when have you EVER seen seen a first party Nintendo controller that was faulty? And no, the Power Glove is not a controller. Well, any answer?

As for the mini-discs, 'ya got me. Nintendo thought that mini-discs would be the new trend, and they were of course wrong. Unless, of course, the big N still has plans for an official portable GC......

I hope this was enlightening for you!

Also if you complain about those not being many games. (wich I don't I think it's a lot) because microsoft and sony have more. Those are more games then your avarge person buys for a console. Enough choise.

Stop typing in blue text. It's gaudy and it makes it look like you want all the attention of everyone.

First warning.

@ everyone: Simmer down! Jeez I think I should lock this thread if it doesn't get back on track soon.

why bug him for the blue text? its almost like a sig or avatar, and people have sigs that always show up under there posts that have flashing colors and stuff like that.

My thoughts on sony eh, they are starting to go downhill in my eyes, they really didnt steal any ideas up until now, i mean how can we point to sony and say they stole rumble, analog sticks, and a controller layout from the snes when almost every game controller has these now, they are standard. but its low of them to decide all of a sudden to put motion sensors in their controllers also. i think most people on these boards think that sony is starting to lose its thunder, its losing SE to nintendo, and its already losing audiences because of its high pricetag. But who knows people may still go for it because they dont like the wii and they like the sony name and same old ea sports titles and mediocre bond games

Personally, I don't have a problem with the blue text but 99% of the people with different color text thinks that they are someone special, and end up getting in trouble for something anyway.

Distortional: This is a public forum where people are to talk with respect, and it is recommended that you back up opinion with FACT, especially bold ones. I would strongly recommend starting by reading the rules thread sticky, and even the more in depth version 2.5 inside. I would either clean up your act, or leave. If you do neither, you can pretty much expect to be kicked out, whether it is for a few days, a few weeks, or forever.
