What happens to the slot underneath? Do I take it out?

you can but don't need to. if you take it out, you need to relocate the cart slot

Well I rewired the game slot. I'm crossing my fingers that It works :shock: !

It worked. I got a little scared cus I turned it on and got nothing... then noticed there was no jumper pack in. Popped that in and it worked.

Now that ive relocated the slot what should I do next? Do I have to desolder the motherboards 3 pices that supply power?

you don't have to desolder anything, but you should if you want to save room. what you do next is get a screen, make a case, hack the controller to put it in the case, get a battery, get a dc-dc convetor, wire everything together, and put everything in the case

I've got a screen coming and i'm ordering a controller like the one from your guide tonight. Ive got the dc-dc converter. I know what switeches to get. So what kind of battery should I get?
ps the dc dc converter requires 9v

are there DPDT that let me charge while I play?
or could I desolder the power supply plus and put it on the side or something and then solder wires and reconnect it? And will the dc dc converter I got from Ti (the one in the forum) work right for the N64, or will I need something else?
