See the first post. I think that's about as much as they're released so far.

Or, in summary, approximately the technical spread as between the DS and PSP.

thats about right though. I'd assume the "NGP playstationportable" will have a much more Ram with those numbers any way.

Cool still the same sell... which will get home brew first will do me over once again.

Cortex-A8 Processor Image
The ARM Cortex™-A8 processor is based on the ARMv7 architecture and has the ability to scale in speed from 600MHz to greater than 1GHz. The Cortex-A8 processor can meet the requirements for power-optimized mobile devices needing operation in less than 300mW; and performance-optimized consumer applications requiring 2000 Dhrystone MIPS

The ARM Cortex™-A9 processor provides unprecedented levels of performance and power efficiency making it an ideal solution for designs requiring high performance in low power or thermally constrained cost-sensitive devices.

Available as either a single core or configurable multicore processor, with both synthesizable or hard-macro implementations available. This processor can scale across a wide variety of applications while enabling a consistent software investment across multiple markets.
I'm sure already there are some kind of relevance that would ensure some serious home brew not to far down the road, initialy the "NGP" will rank out wining some easy linux port. there's got to be a bit more examination time with the 3DS. how long did it take to crack the wii in comparison to loading linux in the ps3?

I'm begining to sound all linux gunghoe. what ever throw some thing on ither... I just think there might be some roads already paved out for the NGP already.

even the Pandora is a close example to what I mean, there already exists a comparison.

Already running the said above ARM Cortex A8.
it's going to be sony unless speaking nintendo works out faster in getting one cracked open.

I sort of assume sonys going to go subscriptions (App service?) if they are going to have a fairly sell able G3 connection (low cost or not).

*edit,

At this point I'm hallucinating

the Xperia Play. ok... this or, a 3g handheld with no yet conformation for homebrew... I'd still discount this, the I-phone blackberry market does not apply to life out side of face book. (YES TWITTER CAN STOP TAKING CREDIT FOR THE EGYPTIANS REVOLTING, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE... They really don't like that every one here thinks facebook caused a riot, 30 years in an assumed dictatorship will do that, add to the fact that many don't have face book, the few that do get to voice it to your Jerrsy shore watching north american, furthering there opinion on the western world, ok I guess motivating them to hate us more for installing there government in the first place, who decided not to step down after telling his country he was not running for president. Further, that cell phone facebook toy is our future trash, by the heaps./rant)

the only reason id be interested in the 3ds would be to play ocarina of time. However i built my own n64 portable so i can play the original game whenever i want.
As far as the psp2 goes, ill only be interested in buying it if it has ported versions of the old best selling ps2 games. Or if they port my favorite game of all time, Final Fantasy X or Resident Evil 4 ill be interested in buying it. Im really an old time gamer and havent been a fan of the newer console games. I only have a newer console because of the feedback it received in reviews but honestly my favorite game generation was the xbox/ps2 generation. I really regret buying a 360 and a wii, mainly because i no longer use my wii and never really played it very much and my xbox 360, while it has good games, gets so incredibly boring if you dont have other people to play with and my friends will be working and going to college soon.
So i have new found hope for the portable gaming market. im hoping they port ps2 games to the ngp, and i am looking forward to picking up pokemon black on march 6.
I loved the original pokemon gold and silver games on the gameboy color, but i thought the new pokemon would ruin the series so i skipped the gba generation of pokemon (which wasnt so bad considering they sucked anyway). but i bought platinum and enjoyed it immensely for the reason that its really just a classic rpg. Hopefully pokemon black will turn out the same. So far reviews of the japanese game have been good.

on a final note, if the 3ds's 3d feature doesnt deliver, it will completely fail. but i think it will turn out ok.
