I had the same thing but we where allowed a coffee maker. Hotplate built in
I do that too! I have to run the water through the coffee maker to get the hottest water.
Also, if your room has ceiling tiles, that is a handy place to stash a George Foreman or a hot plate
Sometimes its just cause people are sick of cleaning it, or some culprit keeps making it catch on fire. Thats why they took ours away in high school...

Granted Mac and Cheese ain't that good for you but the lack of super sodium makes a big deal. No wonder high blood pressure is rampant today.
Personally I would rather cook some spaghetti and make some sauce (from scratch) with italian sausage in it. Takes about 20 minutes. Tastes multitudes better then M&C or ramen.

I like Pork-flavored Maruchan Ramen, but that's pretty much the only ramen I enjoy. I love macaroni and cheese a ton, but it takes a long time to make. Easy Mac is alright in my book too. When it comes down to it, I'd say it's a tie because they're all delicious with tabasco.

That's what happened in my high school. People would, for fun, put in just the dry ramen noodles (what a coincidence!) so they would burn and smell terrible. They also liked to break the ramen in half and toast them at the "ultra burn" setting.
