Unfortunately the top of the lid shows a decent amount of the sanding we did so we're going to have to go back through the whole primer, sand, paint, rinse, repeat cycle. We just aren't looking forward to trying to tape everything off

Love the look of it. You guys did a great job. Before you finish painting, I suggest getting a little more piping and doing the other side too. If you want to throw in some LEDs that's cool, but you could do it just for the asthetic of it. If -both- sides have it and go to roughly the same location it will give it some symetry and make it look more intentional....

Interesting thought Harlequin, I hadn't even considered adding non-functional, aesthetic piping. We'll definitely take that into consideration, thanks!
