New forum dedicated for handhelds?

I don't believe adding a portable section will strecht things too much.

We get the same psp questions asked over and over again. A portable section would allow most of those to become stickies and cause less clutter.

There's currently a large margin of people for this idea, I don't think we can discredit it. I'll continue to stand by it as a good idea, and yes, iam, your thread on the PSP downgrader would most definitely be stikied!

Only problem I can think of is the mods would have another forum to look over. But it wouldn't be too much hard work. And worse case they can always get some new mods

Not really; Tech Q&A was created as a "Technical F42", to take a load off of the technology-oriented questions we got here. It's not meant to be anything handheld-based, which is why I'm advocating we make a forum like this.

Instead of everybody arguing, why don't we just add the Handhelds Forum and be done with it? If you don't want it then simply don't go in it.

70% of active members who voted say "yes" (including me). A forum is only alive because of the quality of the membership and of their postings; if 70% want it, perhaps we should have it please?

There are many parts of the forum I don't visit, but it doesn't mean they shouldn't be there, if people don't want to visit a Handheld section they don't have to, but I rather get the feeling that a Handheld section will attract more viewings and postings than a fair number of other forum sections on this forum, which has to be a further argument to have it surely??

I agree completely. Can we at least give it a try, Bic? Please? PRETTY please? The majority seems to want it, and if it's a matter of maintaining it and setting it all up, I'd be glad to do it, I think I've proved I'm capable in that respect.

Excellent, majority wants it and CronoTriggerfan is happy to do the work maintaining it. All it needs is a new tab for the forum called "Handheld console modding" (or similar) and we can prove how popular it will become...
