For some reason, it seems that these tournaments always have people saying they'll play, but then it falls through. I think the best one was when vb said he had a server up and for people to join. Maybe thats because its harder to forget you're going to play Halo in the time it takes you to open it than to have to wait a whole day.

FLAK CANNON!!!
I..erm..."bought" Halo PC. Anyone else have it?
They should put the flak cannon in Halo PC.
Well they call it the shotgun.
The reason I 'bought' Halo PC is because I REALLY want to know the storyline. I've only ever beat Halo 2, and that starts off with the humans and covenant already at war (if they weren't at the beginning of Halo 1), and the flood (wherever that came from) was running loose on Halo 2.
But my hard drive is failing (S.M.A.R.T. error) and the stupid computer won't detect any hard drives I hook up. The hard drives are known-working, and the cables I even tried directly replacing with the second drive's. Nothing. So much for my newly "bought" copy of partition magic.
Halo still doesn't like the GeForce computer. I have yet to try any other games, but we don't have any 3d games. How sad. I installed Halo PC and I can see all the intro movies just fine, but it won't display the menus.
Any ideas as to why I can't detect hard drives?

Hey, sup?
I might "buy" Halo PC also, Blood Gulch gets kinda old after a while. Halo 1 starts with us already at war with the Covenant, if you really want to know the storyline, read the books, they give you a good background. I haven't even played through all of either game, but I still know whats going on better than those that have played it 50 times (not so much with Halo 2 though, but I've played about 75% of the way through it with my friend).Kurt_ wrote:The reason I 'bought' Halo PC is because I REALLY want to know the storyline.
