khaag, just to add to what CTF said,
You can program things in Fenix if your just getting started. Otherwise, this is SDL (which is what the official devkit is based upon).

Don't Buy From them, I ordered waited 2 weeks, and sent 5 emails to find out that they said I only order shipping. I dunno how I would only order shipping but o well. Personally I think play Asia is the best at the moment. They eve send you free candy with your with your gp2x.
they might not be the most responsive but they are the most directly connected to gamepark themselves and have a good warenty. you cant blame them for you not paying attention when filling out the order form or whatever

Yes, But how can you only order shipping, I mean I filled all of it out, and it said my sub total was like 200 or what ever it was, And If I remember correctly they charged the full amount to the credit card to.

I had to wait a long time for my GP2X. But that was because I insisted on having a Mark II GP2X rather than a MK I. It was worth the wait though. I love my GP2X to death. Try some of the python games and applications.
Meh... So I don't post much?

Okay, I can now (semi)comment on GP2xstore.com as a retailer. Their e-mail response team is a tad bit on the slow side, they even forgot to e-mail me my shipping confirmation, which kinda got me miffed at first. But in their defense, I placed my order at 11:00 on a Sunday night, and they shipped the box out Priority the very next morning, which is an excellent turn-around time. My package should be here by Thursday or Friday, so I'll give you the run-down on what I got, and post a video review of the unit on YouTube sometime that same day. Thanks, and check it out!

Well, it finally came! I'll be posting my review on it sometime today. However, it's having some bugs right now I'd like to get ironed out.

I'm using DrPocketSNES as my SNES emulator (it's great, btw) by Reesy, but I have absolutely no idea how to use save states. Are they even supported in this emulator? And the SRAM settings are pretty screwy, too. Anyone know what's up? And are any of the other SNES emulators out there easier to use as far as save states go?

On the same topic, in DrPocketSNES, how do you save the setting changes you make? Every time I turn the damn thing off, my settings go back to default again, and it's so annoying having to change them back every time I boot the emulator.

My other questions are ROM-related, and as such, can't be talked about here. If you have any experience with NeoGeo or MAME emulation on GP2x, PM me, I could use the help!

Thanks,
CTFan

in the link i posted in the neogeo emulators comments thing someone had a neogeo set that already had metalslug 1 and 2 with it so you could get that and that way you would know where to put the roms also theres a gp2x wiki google it o and use squidgesnes its better and easier to use im pretty sure
