Krepticor wrote:hell I made my setup...mostly

It is a SONY 5.1 Surround bought like 5 yrs ago for $300 with a 50+1 cd changer (I think I may need a new base) But I Added on some Car speakers I found and that is my main "Subwoofer" so-to-speak
I made my setup too, my setup includes two old speakers from 1983 and two newer ones from 1997 and they're hooked up to a dolby 2.1 surround sound  which is pretty retro sounding (It has some pretty cool features)

Yea I also had to make some of the connecting wires that allow me to connect my computer to it

I have a steroheadphone jack to RCA and a few female to male RCA cables (made those too) These also connect my Record player to the surround

yay scratchy records in dolby digital 5.1! not really but it fills the room with its crappy stereo hi-fi sound that is so wonderful for the vintage music idiot I am!

Then the computer goes through like three amps (one from the computer, one from the speakers I jump them off, and one in the Station for the speakers) So i have to remember where all the levels are at at all times...or I go deaf
I refuse to dignify myself with an intelligent and witty signature

Thanks! A lot of the Atari stuff came in a big trash bag from a yard sale. Basically they threw all of their games, controllers, and systems into a bag and slapped a $10 price sticker on it. The only ones we didn't buy from a yard sale were Asteroids, Combat, a few others, and the heavy sixer. (Still have the box!)

My stereo is old school, too...

Sony reciever with digital tuning: 1985-1986
Realistic SCT-29 tape deck: 1984
Realistic equalizer: 1984
Sony PS-77 turntable: 197? (1976?)

I used to have two Realistic speakers form '84, but they took up too much room so I bought a couple car speakers and made a closed box for eac of them. (I don't like ported boxes for large speakers, closed ones have a nicer sound.)

I think the following list is comprehensive. It's what I can recall off the top of my head anyway. :)

Xbox
Xbox360
NES
SNES
N64
Gamecube
Playstation 2
Genesis
Sega CD
32X (Yes, I was one of those fools)
Dreamcast
3DO (Goldstar version)

I did own a Atari 2600, PS1, and Game Boy long ago, but unloaded them somewhere along the way. Oh, and I have a PC that I occasionally play games on. I think that just about covers it...

1. Snes (the orgiinal, not the mini)
2. PS1 (the big grey boxy one, not the bubbly little white one)
EDIT: Silly me, I have an N64 too, although I really have no great games for it so I don't play often.
3. PS2 (again, the big boxy one)
4. Xbox
5. Gamecube (limited edition platinum :D)
6. GBA SP (red)
7. DS (platinum)
8. DS Lite (onyx)
9/10. 2x PSP (both black.... eventuall I'll find one of those sweet white ones)

Now that it is worth next-to-nothing (not withstanding Spiderman Web of Fire, that still catches over $100 for a complete copy). I kind of want one. I know it's awful but I like Virtua Racing, Virtua Fighter, and Knuckles Chaotix.

The only games I ever got for it were Doom and the Star Wars one. They were both pretty cool at the time, but then they dropped support for the 32X pretty rapidly. That was rather disappointing I must say. :(
