i was just at a rmmage sale and see somebody (man i wish i would have seen it) walk by with an atari jaguar and the box (bot in perfect cond.) i asked how much he got it for, he said $30

who cares if it's stolen? lol, I almost bought that game at Wal*Mart for 35 bucks, but ended up getting Age of Empires for 30, and then some subway with my left over money(man that was good) heh. Good find man. (would you be willing to let it go perchance?)

Just got back from a garage sale today:

the findings!

2 NES', 1 in box, both w/ cords
dreamcast w/ cords
a N64 box
2 dreamcast controllers
5 NES controllers (4 reg. 1 nes max)
2 SNES controllers
1 genesis controller
3 NES r/f modulators
2 Sega genesis power cords
1 SNES power cord
6 NES games
3 SNES games

And the best find, EARTHBOUND for SNES!
All for 2$! What a deal!

WOW that's awesome! How nice is the NES in the box? Does the box still have the original packing? And is the Earthbound cart working?

The nes box is in decent condition. the tab on one side is torn bad, but everything else is fine. As for earthbound, I need a SNES..

Just had to get it while I got it on a deal. (It is my fav. snes game)

I went garage sailing today and picked up a Sega Genesis with 28 games, 2 controllers, and all the original hookups for 8 bucks. Then I got a Nintendo with 3 controllers, a lightgun, and all original hookups for 5 bucks. Then I finally got Super Mario World for a buck. Best deals I've had all year.

didnt do too bad today, nes with all hookups 2 controllers and 6 games for 3$ and a box of random computer stuff (including a powersupply) for a dollar and a n64 game case for a dime

Hi,

I spent 3 hours yard saling today basically to find nothing, but thank goodness at the last house I came across this lot.

Too bad I think I may have paid too much for it ($35), but I couldn't pass it up.

Now my main issue is where to store all this junk.

Yep, it lets you play Master System games on your Genesis.

From Wikipedia:
"One of the key design features of the console is its compatibility with its immediate predecessor, the Master System. The 16-bit design is based upon the 8-bit design, albeit enhanced and extended in many areas. As the cartridge slot is of a completely different shape, Sega released the Power Base Converter, a separate device that sat between a Master System cartridge and the new shape of cartridge slot. Due to the high level of backwards compatibility, the Power Base Converter does not contain any Master System components - it is essentially a method of fitting a square peg into a round hole. The converter contained 2 slots. The top slot was for cartridge based games. The front slot was for card based games. The Power Base Converter would be fully compatible with the Genesis 2, were it not for the different shape of the Genesis 2's casing. One can remove the PBC casing, allowing it to work on a Genesis 2."

BTW jeff, the l64's controller chip is actually fine (albeit somewhat scorched) I just had it soldered to controller port 4 instead of 1!
