my English teacher is copulate awesome this year. he realizes how stupid it is learning grammar so we only get to read books all year and they are good books like the catcher in the rye and the natural. plus he makes his tests incredibly easy even if you only study a little bit. i think i got my first A in english ever

By the way, I've decided to make my atari portable case similar to this. And by similar, I mean lexan top and bottom with aluminum sides. And rectangular. Because I like working on this stuff, but I'm also slightly lazy...

Okay, this is the right thread:

Well well well...
I gave up on my other design, it was just too damn small, and I have a habit of rushing things. I pried the PSOne screen off, and managed to salvage the speakers, but the controller is dead. Doesn't really matter because I have a couple more.

Anyway, I updated the design today. Much bigger, and no cart relocation (lame I know), but its symmetrical, looks nice, and gets the job done. Here's a pic of my design:

I'm trying to plan this out stage by stage and not rush into it like before. I took measurements, borrowed some from Ben. Obviously the design was inspired by Ben's original NESp, I just modified the dimensions. It will be 1" thick, with another 1" thick compartment sticking out the back that houses the batteries and such: I am determined to at least make the design thin. I also mapped where each spacer would be, just like Ben does, in hopes that it would turn out something like his. I cut the front plate today, my dremelling has really improved, the screen cuts are ALMOST straight. heh.

More updates on Friday, I really need to get back to studying for finals. Later.

wow 1" thick for the components, u must be really good with your hands...anyways i like your design, good luck
