Thats for the commnets guys, yeah, thats my favorite shoopdawhoop!
I guess I deserve it, a week after I built my 5th my dad took it away because of low grades. I insisted on boxing it up to keep it safe, then later switched it with a book of equal size and let my friend test drive it for me. In any case, I hope you all enjoy the contest. My dad has taken my portable now, but I get to keep my computer untill this wednesday...

Well, I get absolutley nothing electronic related, and no exposure to any forms of entertainment, no tv no compy no portable
, and no working(I do all kinds of pointless soldering projects that I dont need, I just do them for fun. Thats Why I havent messed up a cart slot relocation since #2.
Basically I have to do well in school untill the first progress report. If ALL of my grades are not up to high standard then the next four weeks I get nothing. No exceptions. I do well, I get it back for four weeks. It's not my parents, it's my dad. He's been acting like this recently, but i credit him with his mechanical ability and man many tools I use all the time.

If there is a worst attempt, I've got a better shot at it than you. I've killed a screen, a Yobo, and a GBMicro already in pursuit of this. lolAtari Dogs wrote:With all these portable being made any for sale after the competition? I killed my 2600. I still have my working PSone screen and a 3 inch tv. I wonder if Ben give a worst attempt award?

Hardly good parenting. My parents tried the same things once. They thought my grades were going to get bad if they didn't ground me from the beginning. I just stopped everything and said f#$% it. Grades fell like crazy.Atari Dogs wrote:When you get old, you'll have another word for it, "Good Parenting."khaag wrote:What is this "earn-it-back" thing and your parents sound like Nazis
I do not recommend this however! I had to bust my ass just to graduate due to this. While as far as i'm concerned it was good enough for me, it is not a good solution.
The great thing about them the last year of high school is they realized that they really couldn't stop me from doing things. I always found a way around.
It is not junk! It is assorted goods with no current use.Sword_Gun wrote:Klef your asking a whole bunch of videogame players.. for girl advice.. Nice.

Finding a way around things becomes common place as soon as you gain experience. I have always gotten around the time schedule on my computer by changing the clock from the boot setup menu(idk, it says press f1 at the beginning!
)
This time, my way around the system is a very awesome and generous forum member, palmertech! Because changing the time on my computer doesnt change a thing if its in the attic now does it?
