That sure would make it easier on me. But more people live in the Mid West (or western Michigan to Minnisota) so it would be better to have it in a place easily accessable to everyone.

yeah, somewhere around Michigan or Minnesota (ah, I love google

) would probably be best for most people

.....I wouldn't mind driving a bit longer, either....hell, I'd drive all the way to Hawaii if I had to!!!! (yes, I'd drive to hawaii

....I'd rig up our van with a some barrels or something and then we'd "drive" it in the ocean to Hawaii

....)

Looking at my handy Pocket Map of North America, I'd say Indiana, Ohio or Illinois would be good states to start in (planning-wise), considering where the avid supporters of this convention idea are (Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, East Canada)...

i am from baltimore, however i'd love to go to wisconsin. huge packers fan here. even though i haven't made a portable, being in the process of losing several ebay auctions, i'd definitely make an effort to go. However, being only 14, it might be hard.
