This is why I DON'T like the DS. They're following Sony, but they're doing it worse. They're charging you for the card, Sony had enough money to make it free. And if you actually give a damn about your UMDs, you'll put them back in the case so they DON'T get scratched. And using Sony's credentials to attack them is absurd, just because Nintendo used to make a better portable system, doesn't mean the PSP doesn't deserve is proper consideration. And what's the big deal about using a dumbed down version of Linux on a PDA who swallowed a Gameboy?elementxmaster wrote:WOAH!!!!!!!Thats why I love the DS!!!!!! It rules man...
While loads of people say that the PSP is better, they only say that cos they're the ones that follow the crowd and are blind to see nintendos wicked design but the thing is they're releasing it in Japan (What about Europe, Endland,USA?, are we less important?, OR BIG N may be developing a better browser for us,hopefully).
PSP will become infamous for their UMD discs as they will get scratched easily and need to be replaced costing more money. First I saw the DS Linux on this cool site http://dslinux.org/ and now this browser will enhance the gaming world forever. Nintendo has been in the game for 20 years whereas Sony's Playstation has been here for not very.
Of course I have a playstation 2 but it doesn't beat my gamecube. PS games are definetly not as good as LOZ:WW or any other zelda games.
I rest my case.
In your post you mentioned how a browser will enhance the gaming world, the PSP has had a browser for almost half a year , Sony did it first. And PS2 has Kill Zone, an easier to control (IMO) version of Resident Evil 4, Metal Gear Solid: 3, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
Anyhow back to this stupid browser, Explain to me how you're going to read text on such small screens with out some awkward way of viewing websites? My point is, the DS isn't built for reading webpages, and they're just going to put forth some mediocre browser to get in league with Sony. And by the way, the PSP doesn't need a UMD to use the web browser, but the DS is going to require a cart.
I rest my case.

And? That all depends on your point of view I find that RE4 on GC is much easier to control for me and that the PS2 version is very hard for me to control and if those are the only games keeping you on the PS2 you need to look at the possibilitys...Nicholai wrote:

I'm more of an X-Box person, but I like my PS2 aswell. I didn't much care for the gamecube, so I sold it and bought a used X-Box.Metroid fan wrote:And? And I respect that but why don't you like the GC and before you say it has kiddie games think of another reason too.Nicholai wrote:I'm more of an X-Box person, but I like my PS2 aswell. 1. Because a lot of the games suck. The only good ones are Wind Waker, RE: 4, and the Prime games.Metroid fan wrote:And I respect that but why don't you like the GC and before you say it has kiddie games think of another reason too.Nicholai wrote:I'm more of an X-Box person, but I like my PS2 aswell. 2. Because the controller looked like a robot vomited on a boomerang.
3. Because I kept losing the damned disks if I'd knock them behind my desk. (Thank god the Revolution will fix this)
4. No DVD player.
5. The memory cards were ridiculous prices. (A small factor of me buying an X-Box)
6. Most of the games on it were on other systems, and were easier to control than the robot vomit stick.
7. NO ONLINE PLAY. (Big N's biggest mistake EVER.)
8. Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes.

2. I was refering to the fact of how none of the buttons are symetrical
3. I don't give an excrement about load times, as long as it doesn't suck. People who complain about load times are just looking for something negative they can say.
4. Because it's a luxury. If that GCp of yours played DVDs you would watch them.
5. I bought my 32 meg memory card for a dollar, where as I bought my GameCube one used for thirteen bucks.
6. The controller's a vomit stick.[/b]
