That is true. I've used a few generic "project cases" for portables and other projects and it's just not the same. Mind you, some of my own case designs have been spectacularly bad! :oops:

Once I've got the guts of my current project working, I'm considering using mild steel for the case. I'm used to forming metal for repair panels on cars so I figured why not.
I've often found if people spend less time worrying about what someone the other side of the world has posted on an internet forum and more time getting laid, they'll be a lot less tense.
