Yes indeedy, the genesis pad sucked eggs! Still used it though. It was about the same quality as the SNES pad if you ask me. They were both really stiff and not very responsive.
PS2 pad is ok, but only for a while. The "knobbiness" of the pad can hurt your thumb after a while as Sparks already pointed out.
So in closing, NES pad r0x0rz!!!
best d-pad ever

Re: Could you
I don't see how or why you'd ever want to, but I suppose you could. It'd probably prefer to be thrown on the link port. And then you get to recode games (or firmware) not only to take control from an analog source but to take input commands from the link port.GamingRev wrote:Could you replace the d-pad on a GBM with an analog stick?
you can do a lot of things with a GBA, but few of them are very wise.
Re: Could you
'Tis like the DS. I can run homebrew from the gba port, someone should make a DS game that you can buy expansion packs for cheap that go in the GBA slot...Reaperman@home wrote: you can do a lot of things with a GBA, but few of them are very wise.
Shhh! I'm not officially back yet.
Re: Could you
Nintendo is almost doing that with Metroid Pinball, i'm not sure if it's seperate or included with the game but you can get a rumble pack that plugs into the GBA slot for 'simulated rumble action'.totokan wrote:'Tis like the DS.
