Learn some grammer, you will probubly get more replies that way! '
For a first thing, I wouldent make a portable, I would probubly build a GBA or something into a dreamcast controller just to get started. Then make a snes. DONT MAKE A PS2 PORTABLE AS YOUR FIRST! IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE!

PS3 sucks...
yeah, you should make a portable, don't get discouraged if people say you shouldn't or it's tough...the gamecube was/is my first portable........its tough, but it aint like uber hard. Just go with what you want. But remember, there will be some hardships in the progress......like i dropped my psone lcd the first day and the ribbon cable poped out..........but i fixed it and it works just fine
Just a note, you will want some spare cash, just incase if anything goes wrong.

I was gonna make a portable gamecube, but held it off till, I'm a bit more ready. I decided to make a PS1P. I've only got the fatter edition, but when I opened it, one-third of it is empty space! I also have a PS2 I'm gonna consider portablizing because it's broken but still works (if you know what I mean).
Same reason for why i'm making a GCp...the DVD drive was all messed up, and would only play games for 2 minutes! But when i opened it up, i fixed the problem (the open-close switch must have been busted, cause when i soldered the blue wires together, it worked fine!).......it's sad when a Gamecube works better in a duct taped cardbord box with no fan, than in it's original casingNES_fanatic wrote:I also have a PS2 I'm gonna consider portablizing because it's broken but still works (if you know what I mean).
Do you mean a cardboard case, or a plastic type case?supernoob wrote:ok for my first portable ill use the carve out a box and put holes for buttons and analog sticks and a screen.
But i really wanna do the vacuum case thing.
it worked for a computer i built, actually two...see, my friend had a pc and i said i would take the parts...so i put them in a box....then i had an idea! I actually built the pc in a cardboard box...........it was so sweet! It's specs were sweet too. I got a 1 ghz celeron with 386 MB Ram!!!!!!!!!! That is awsome! I got a 40 GB hdd with it too! Anyway........wood is no better than cardboard, and cardboard is easier....but it's your decision.......my gcp is in a cardboard enclosure...but when it's all done, i'm gonna put a layer of sheet metal over it, then put a plastic encloser over it.......In a couple days i will reveal my GCp in it's second case (first case was only seeable in the GCp music video i made) But, make sure you put fans in it...or else you could have some...um...fire hazards.......
It would be like this.............
Me: Hey wanna go play gamecube
Friend: Sure......hey whats that smell??
Me: Idk....
*walks into room with the GCp in*
Friend:
um.....
Me: Gasp! The gamecube is on fire!!!!!!!!!
Friend: You better call the fire-department
Me: Nah......they're probally still mad bout last time when the ps2 blew up, besides it's just a built in feature
