Acouple people seem to think this but how is putting a bid on something cheating, even if you use some sort of service. You're shopping, not rigging an election or something. I assume these services take your 'max bid' but dont apply it till the last second, right? your still not going to win if the price goes over ur amount because it wont make the bid for you. Whats the point, other than the fact the current winner doesnt have any idea that the item has a contender till the last minute. If thier bid is still higher it wont matter.
That's exactly how they work, and if I was willing to schedule my life around ebay that's how I would do it. I started using ebay how I thought it should be used, i.e. if something was worth $20 to me, I'd bid $20. Unfortunately a lot of ebay noobs will start bidding and raise their bid by a couple bucks each time they don't get the high bid. This ends up with broken LCD's going more for than new ones.

I like www.auctionstealer.com it's basic limited use is free for up to a couple auctions per week at 10 seconds before the auction ends.

Sometimes it really helps because I get stuff like this: Radicas!
