I think that the Gamecube version of RE4 is better simply because I like the gamecube controller so much more than the PS2 controller(or the Xbox controller)

go buy it you will be addicted, its sooooo fun, i also like the shooting system, like they dont die unless you shoot them in vital points its really cool when you kick there heads off to

RE4 for the GC is quicker, due to processing speeds. The graphics are better in the GC version, and the cutscenes are in real-time on the GC. The cutscenes are pre-rendered on the PS2, the chainsaw was excluded in the PS2 version, an anti-zombie death ray is included on the PS2 version, various additional content is also included on the PS2 version, such as a suit of armor for Ashley, and a Zoot suit (pfff...pimp suit...noobs) for Leon.

Buy it for the death beam, play it at a friend's house for the chainsaw.


RE for the GC was the best of the first three, while I think number 2 was the scariest.
