What to do with SNES mini case?????

Hmmm...

1. Make it an external USB (firewire?) hard drive, but buy two of the "SNES to USB" adapters and put them in the sandard controller port holes!

2. Make a Mini-ITX machine with the dual controller adapters!

3. Get another one and make a pair of cool wall mount speakers!

4. Telephone base

5. Battery pack for another portable (Iorny!

I had actually thought about speakers and I love the SNES to USB adapter idea. Thanx

Collect enough and beat Ben to being the first to make a house out of system cases. Or more realisticly a type of computer would work. Something like say making it the new case for a router or switch.

Put a Psone screen in it and velcro it to the back head rest of a car seat. Long car rides.....

Use a 12V power inverter to be able to plug in anything, Nice if your car dosent already have a DVD player in it.

I would say computer, I havent read any of the past posts, so I dont know if its a regular or mini case. Regular would be better, unless it has that crappy yellow-ing plastic.

Thanks for the link I am gonna look into this. On a side note why does the plastic turn yellow? My SNES still looks nice and grey (knock on wood) but do they all turn yellow eventually?

I think it was the 2nd version regular SNES that used some crazy plastic, so it would turn yellow.

Sunlight, dirt, and smoke are major contributing factors in that.

A lot of the old Macintosh hardware did that, too. I think the UV light breaks down some of the plastic or something, because my old Macs were corporate throwaways which existed in a smoke-free cubicle environment, but were lit with flourescent tubes. Oddly enough, parts with clear packing tape didn't turn yellow, but the adhesive got dry and powdery, which happens after 10+ years!

The plastic turns yellow as others said becuase of dirt. You can clean the cases (google) and they'll be back to the color they originally were.

bleh my old snes case was a nasty yellow color i have no idea how it broke but it was all sticky and tasted like barbecue sauce
