Yeah I know you mentioned that you were wearing a helmet. But I'm just saying going through a windshield and reseving a few laserations on the head are not as bad as it sound (first hand experiance ofcourse). Anyways hope your leg isnt too badly messed up, hate to know you'll be hobbling around for the rest of your life.

but technically a cyclist isn't a pedestrian. In Michigan the law treats cyclists almost exactly the same as any other vehicle, except they get the right of way on left hand turns automatically IIRC

...Okay...anyway, in many cases, the bicycle is considered a vehicle, and has to obey many of the same traffic laws as a car. He might not be considered a pedestrian here.
Warranty-Voiding fun!

He said he was in the hospital for 2 hours...

Worst thing ive done on a bike is lock the front brake, flip over the handlebars and have the bike run over my face. -.-;

The worst thing I'e ever done on a bike was probably missing a 4-year-old by mere feet (he was trying to intercept me) when I was doing close to 30 mph. (27 if I remember right)

Worst thing I've ever done to a bike: run over the front tire with my car (luckily it was an old project bike I was going to rebuild anyways, and I had a new set of wheels for it.)

Worst thing I've ever done on a motorcycle... well let's just say that trees don't move out of your way. :lol:

Worst thing I've ever done with a car: running oevr that bike tire. (a spoke caught one of the car tires. I managed to patch it, luckily. :D

Most fun I've ever had on a lawn tractor: it's a tie between
a. putting tons of weight on the front wheels and doing donuts
b. putting tons of weight on the back and popping wheelies
c. removing as much weight as possible and tearing arse around the yard
(It's an old Sears tractor. It doesn't run anymore. :( Oh well, it was as loud as a 747 anyways :P)

Wow, with the number of threads you make, you really have no grounds to complain.

No, I hardly find you annoying as I once did. With Hotdog gone, I now have no real hatred with anyone.
