Xbox: Alright, its got some very nice RPGs and ofcourse Halo. Onling play is one of the great things they did. Otherwise.... I lost interest in it.

PS2: Has Armored Core and GTA. Lack of online play killed many of the other potentials it could have for gaming. Not to menion the controller's analog sticks are a little out of place, like I cant use the that well in AC.

GameCube: Never owned one cant say much other then they have one very strange controller!

i think the gamecube controller is the best out of the three. the ps two con. is too square and the analog stick problem. Also, i dont like the xbox controller for the sole reason of the white and black butons. its so annoying when you need to talk (or scream) at someone and you need to take your hand off the analog stick.

Current Gen:

Xbox: Linux. Period. I hate the games. I hate the controllers, I REALLY hate Microsoft; but that's why I want their system so I can install Linux on it and rub it in B.G's face that I don't like his software.

Playstation 2: I own one and a few games for it, I like the controller layout; it's simple but effective, it's compatible with my somewhat large collection of Playstation games.

GameCube: My cousin has one, and (quite frankly) I don't like it one bit. I hate the controllers (the button layout fels awkward for me). I don't like the games (I havent really been a Nintendo fan since they effed up Mortal Kombat for the SNES), and the tiny CDs look easy to lose, especially for someone like me who's fairly disorganized.

Current Handhelds:

GBC: Yeah I know it's old, but I use it a lot more than the GBA. Mainly for Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, which added SMB2j, 2 player races, and a "Challenge" mode to the game, which I'd call a "remake" instead of a "port". Sure I could have bought SMB for the GBA, but I already have it for the NES and the GBC, so why bother? :P

GBA Original: The one I have. I like it a lot better than any of its successors so far. Sure the screen is hard to see sometimes, but I don't mind moving a bit to see the screen. At least I can hold it. :P

GBA SP: Kind of small, but the frontlight on the screen helped with playability a lot. My sister has one, and I play it occasionally, but I wouldn't go and het one.

DS: Gimmicks galore. Why does a handheld need a touch screen and a microphone? If they wanted the opportunity for analog control, they dhould have had a thumb slider like on the NES MAX controller. The only thing I like about it is DS-Linux, which has a touchscreen keyboard, and Super Mario 64.

GBA Micro: Pointless. It's just another ploy to get people to buy their system all over again (along with a million adapters so you can plug in the charger and a pair of normal headphones.) Plus the miniscule size makes it useless for me. I mean I can palm a basketball, and I have a hard enough time with the SP. I took out a Plen-T-Pak of gum and held it like the Game Boy Micro, and it cramped my hand up after 5 mins.

Next Gen:

Playstation 3: Because it's comaptible with all my old games, and I don't like having to switch systems all the time. The controllers I've seen so far , though, I really hate. Why not just use the same layout?

Nintendo Revolution: This would have been at the bottom if it wasn't for the promise of classic downloadable games. However it's not at the top because there probably won't be any hackability to it, and wireless controllers are pointless. Plus I doubt it will be backwards compatible with the Gamecube.

Xbox 3.1415927:I hate Microsoft. They drowned out the computer market by making it seem like Windopes is the only choice. Not to mention I hate the Xbox games and controllers. Maybe it will be possible to install Linux on the 360, but I'm sure MS would send a squad of secret agents to your house to take you away to a reform camp, never to be heard of again, if you did anything to their precious, buggy software.

1. Xbox 360 - Only place too get Halo 3 plus backwards compatability!

2. Nintendo Revolution - We don't know what the controllers look like, cannot make decision.

3. PS3 - Looks horrible, too big, too expensive, ewww Blu-ray, no Halo 3, and most of all, bad controllers.

1. There are hacks for the GameCube, and a Linux distro!

2. There might.

how very very wrong you are my friend http://forums.afterdawn.com/forum_view.cfm/112

cube hacking has been around for quite awhile, its it has become easier and easier with time. It has great NES and Genesis emulators, so so 64, and a good SNES too(though I havent tried it yet). Cube games themselves are easy too, and linux had been done on it as well.
SNESp - 100%
Protable X - 15% - I need money :(

Xbox 360 will probably be the best thing to happen, ever. I mean Halo 3, 4, and 5 will be awesome dude. Plus I can play halo 2 and 1 dude. Sony and Nintendo suck because they didn't think of halo first. Oh yeah and dude, the graphics on halo 6 are going to melt my official halo dog tags they are gonna be so sweet. I cant wait for the Xbox 1080 dude!

For me, Xbox wasn't great. Halo is extremely overhyped and sucks in single player mode. Only thing good is multiplayer, but I get more fun in unreal so no need for that. Only game I see worth playing is Ninja Gaiden, but I am not going to spend $100 for one game! The controllers are great because I have big hands...but still...no good games!

GameCube: Not many good games, however, there are some good games on it. Resident Evil 4 by far is one of my favorite games as well as Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door. Mario Party is always a fun game to play with people as well...and Monkey Ball is great as well for the days where you are bored and feel like being challenged. The games are aimed more for families, however, I enjoy some of them.

Playstation 2: I enjoy many of the games on this system and another plus in my book for the ps2 is that you can modify it a lot. There are also a lot of sucky games too like Rogue Ops. On another note, the sucky games are a good way for new companies to practice there game making skills because the ps2 doesn't require much to play a decent game.

Every system has its up's and down's...but my personal favorites are the Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, and Gameboy Advance/SP!!! The 2d games are great and back then, games were created with one goal in mind: GAMEPLAY!!!

Today, everything is graphics, and it BLOWS!!!! Make a FUN game...I want to buy a game because it is fun, not because of the new partical system that was created, FFFUUUNNN!!!!!!!!!!

CG-

XBOX-Best, Great load times, Great games (Shenmue II, halo). HD and many online and Custom Sound tracks

GCN-Second Best in race, its is the only Pure game System left. It Has great games

PS2- The Only reason people bought it is for DVD playback couse the Games have bad graphics, Horible controller design, Glitchy as hell, it is NOW getting to be DC quality graphics
