I guy at the flea market near me wanted $20 for his Mini-SNES. I didn't get it, because of the $10 Atari 7800.

Lol, my entire retro collection has cost me around $35 to date, and it consists of 3 nes's, 5 genesis's, an snes, a sega cd, and a crap load of games.

All though, last week, some person wanted $600 for a Heavy Sixer, I wanted to get on the floor and laugh :P.

Me: How much for the atari?
Them: $700
Me: Your Kidding.
Them: Nope. $600 is the lowest I'll go.
Me: You do know I can get one for $30 on ebay.
Them: No, those are broken and unfixable. Now get out.
Me: Actually, I want this nintendo game and watch.
Them: $1 please.
Me: Now, have you checked ebay on this?
Them: Yes, they go for 50 cents. You've been ripped off.

Turns out that that game and watch was worth around $50 USD.

I think my entire Atari collection cost about $350 total. (Mainly because my folks bought a VCS in 1979, along with a few games such as Space Invaders and Asteroids.) I bought a garbage bag full of Atari 2600 carts, controllers, and a heavy sixer Sears Video Arcade for about 15 bucks.

Sega collection cost about $90, because I bought the console and numerous games at GameStop. (The copy of Sonic 3 I picked up already had a savegame for every character completed at 100%)

NES collection: close to $25 (Only bought a couple of games at Gamestop, most came from relatives and yardsales)

Gameboy stuff: >$100. Recieved a GBC for my birthday with 3 games, bought several add-ons and games, an Arctic GBA when it came out, and about 5 games for it altogether.

Hmmm.... maybe I should make a list of what I have... Maybe we should all make a collection catalog... :?
