yeah, it may be text based but it is used a lot. When you come here, where is the first place you go? That's what I thought

Some peoples browsers don't cache files, so they have to download every image for every click.

Guys it's already decided. The goal is to now start doing things.

I suggest we plan it all out for ben and gannon so they just have to set it up.

Ie: we choose the temp mods, the mod us, we start archiving...etc. Just go! I say Spongey, bicostp, Lucretius, Sparkfist, Triton, G-Force, and Gamelevr as applicants...

I'd put MM007 in place of Bic, no offense Bic. If Jack Frost ever comes back for more than a day, he should also be put on the list, so he can deal with all the stuff he posted back in the day. (or delete everything that isnt his, whatever way works)

What we're going for here is expertise. Ie: Spongey-2600, Gamelver-um, any newer system?

These guys are going to have to weep through every post to find anything worth saving and recording for stickies, etc.

As for who's going to do all of this, that hasn't been decided, but here is what each job would entail:

The Book- JOB: Find any and all errors in the book that were noted here to create a guide for the troubled readers. Might have to look through other forums...

Atari 2600- JOB: Find all portables created, new and old to be safe. Also any new developments in hacking this console. Ie: Flashback 2.0 disscusion, Gannon's VCS mini board, etc.

NES- JOB: Portables, updates, cart relocation, etc. Portables will be big here since a lot of people made some solely NOAC based portables. Include any "Under Development" projects too.

SMS,Gen/Rad,SCD- JOB: Same as last two. Any info on this stuff, espesically the "Radica Compatibility testing..." thread.

SNES- JOB: Same, same same. Include any ideas, project (finished, and UD), etc...

PSOne- JOB: Notice a trend? Don't forget the "Replaceing disc drive stuff"; or more, IT WON'T HAPPEN!

N64- JOB: Ug, you know the drill. Remeber the whole "How do I power this thing issue" and "relocating the cart slot"...

PS2,XB,GC- JOB: This one will be tricky. There's a lot of useless crap here. But don't forget Gamelver's GCp! We will hurt you if you do...

Screen Hacks- JOB: Light mods, usable screens, yadda yadda yadda...

Trading Post- JOB: VERY ESSENTIAL! TRACK DOWN ANY UNFINISHED TRANSACTIONS AND MAKE SURE THEY DON'T GET LOST IN THE MOVE! BE RESPONSIBLE!

F42- JOB: The fun job. Save all of our memorable moments. The beginings of lasting jokes, fun poles, you know the drill, just go nuts! On the other hand there's a motherload of crap here, so be careful!

Lucretius and I had a good conversation on AIM about this. I think I should PM Ben about this whole thing, though, since he needs to give the final approval. Besides, I can see this thread getting huge, and it would be best for him to start small, and read little bits as they're posted.

You forgot the Dreamcast forum. When/If Ben says its ok to do this... I call the PSone and Dreamcast forums!!!

Also we're going to need at the very least 2 people for forum 42 as its the biggest and will not be managed as quickly as the others.
