I don't really see the point in adding GBA functionality to any portable. Especially a Gamecube portable. It would be much bulkier, louder, and have worse battery life than the original GBA. The only benefits would be a larger screen and [arguably] better controls. And considering GBA's can be had for under $20 nowadays, what's the point in adding it other than just to be different?
I would only consider doing it if I was making a Gamecube laptop.

..also adding gameboy advance capability will be too costly to be worth it, as the TV out units cost an arm and a leg
..I'd only say it would be worthwhile if you already had the TV out thing
