A power regulator so you don't potentially overload the PSP.
And (to be really safe) add a fuse.

I am not sure what you mean, but on the buses i use, they don't have outlets.
I've also changed the plan, so tell me, Do i still need a resistor?
I'm making:
Female powerplug-----battery box (4AA's)
Its just a powerplug thats hooked into a battery box, so i can power my psp and other stuff without breaking a psp wire.

well, my idea didn't work, I cant get a psp charger cable, and the one i had got smashed (the little yellow part). My brother will loan me his, and i'm not taking that apart. what i meant by 'my idea':

took a 9v female plug from radio shack.

cut an extension cord (it has 3 plugs)

i connected them, and put a 9v battery in, and got nothing. even pluging in a 3v GBA power supply, nothing.

Do any of the radioshack "adaptaplug"s fit the PSP?
