Please don't even begin to think you are capable of taking someones money in this forum and building them a portable when you don't even know what the heck you are doing, and haven't even built or done a single mod.
jeeze you sound like this guy at my school, you total think i am gonna fail at this i know you probly know more than i will ever will learn about this but excuse me for not dropping my life to study this forum i don't have time! , and i ask all the questions to make sure i'm getting the right answer to my question because i have only 100 dollars to spend and i don't want to mess up! and if i do i am screwed
plus i don't want(or have the money) to pay someone to build it for me cause i like the sense of accomplishment by building my self
(p.s i am halfway done with mine i will post pics when the case and screen come in the mail)

Go back and re-read what I said. This has nothing to do with whether or not you can complete a portable.
This has everything to do with you offering to take someones money to build a portable when you have no ides what you are doing and you haven't done anything yet.

I am not "assuming" anything. I KNOW you have not finished a portable. And that's what I said.
Don't offer to make a portable for someone until you have proven you can.
And there are hundreds of people on this forum that got "halfway" through a portable and never finished.

He didn't talk down to you, he stated that you haven't finished yet. That is all. You take way too much offense at general comments. Finish your N64 so that at the very least you will have an example to show for your work before you offer a commission, that's all.
