Everyone on the internet will make fun of you for openly displaying your nerdiness, however, the sole act of replying in such a way as to make themselves seem 'less' nerdy is pathetic. Do what you enjoy doing, and don't let the 12 year olds across the internet discourage you. Seriously, the internet is an awful place for constructive criticism.

proxify.com is what I use to get to places like i-Mockery and other sites like that.

go to www.whois.sc and enter the website you want to go to in the search. You can then copy and paste the IP address into the IE/FF address bar, and get into the website. (BTW, what's the IP for doomportables?)

As for the whole videogame thing, I tend to stay away from gawker sites and their forums. (gawker sites: sites that have articles like "WOW! An Atari Portable! How does he do that?!") The only exceptions are hackaday and engadget, because they link to the creators' websites.

Those people who say "you built a PC that plays all kinds of video games, SO WHAT?! GET A LIFE!" are probably jealous because they do not have the intelligence to make it themselves, or are just jerks who belong in an asylum. (I know one of my classmates doesn't understand why anyone would want to play classic games. ) Some people just don't understand.

it dose not look like you put a great deal of effort in makeing your "EmulationStation" so I do not know why you could not have time for girlsfrends and stuff so I do not know why they would think that maybe it because your just calling your computer a fancy name I just use an xbox for emulation it can emulate most systems up to PSone and its ezer than a computer
