Err, isn't the Game Cube number 3 in sales right now (or did it jump back to 2)? Which means compared to say a PS2, there's not many people out there with Game Cube games. A mass-produced portable of that kind of power would be a real competitor to the PSP, with a large game library to back it up.

no i mean 2 seperate systems thats an addon it cost money and there where they make the money on that they need people to gop out and buy new games constantly to keep there revenue up thats how they make there money

im talking about forwards compatibility converging portable with home they will lost millions if that is real. they want to resell there games as many times as possible

I won't say it's real yet (by which I mean "Official") untill I see that Nintendo is ludicrus enough to put out 5 portable's in 5 years (and believe me, they don't have to work much harder to prove that). Nintendo is right now like a cold front and a warm front creeping up on each other. You've got no clue what's gonna happen next, but your terrified nonetheless...

Anybody (on this forum, it was bought up on another) think about how much of a female of the dog species itd be to have a slim-line disk drive for both full and mini-sized disks? I don't think they'd go that route. And unless CDs are going on and mini-disks are coming in, as far as music goes, its a fake. I don't think Nintendo would put that on just for the hell of it.

J00 are an idiot. Nintendo is using 2 screens and a touch screen only on the DS as a unique idea to boost sales. It's not something Nintendo will put on every single system they make.

nintendo revolution will have touch pad controllers and nintendo portables are always compatable with their predessesor's games so the next one will most likley have 2 screens and touchscreen so you can play DS games on it

D0od! Thats a rumour. Get your freakin facts straight before trying to argue about something that makes no sense. Also, Nintendos gameboys are always backwards compatible, not all of their portables. The virtualboy was meant to be portable *note: battery pack* but wasn't that great as one, does that mean that the GBA can now mysteriousley play VB games? NO! The DS is completely seperate from the Gameboy line except for compatibility with the GBA games, which was probably added just to sell the system out to those unwilling to relinquish their SP's.
