Making N64 portable for the first time

Plus there is one crucial problem that even sifuf couldn't solve, is that his portable doesn't have batteries. So it's not even 100% portable.

It's so easy to get 7.2v anywhere. Unless your out hiking or something, if you have the right adaptors, you can get 7.2v. Cars, homes, school, any public building, trains, and you can always just have external batteries. I actually, now that I experiment with it, like external batteries better.
And, soldering to the RCP isn't that hard. I've managed to solder quite a few connections onto it, but then misfortune struck.

It was a stupid mistake. It shouldn't've happened, but I made a poor choice.

i don't think shockslayer ever did vacuum forming, so a case like SisuF's probably couldn't be made by shockslayer. i think a cool portable shockslayer might be able to make you is using the case life of brian used for his nintendo superboy. that was his greatest portable snes he has ever made, and i think it'd make one hell of a portable n64.

Yeah, SifuF's (<-correct spelling) portable never actually had batteries. It's amazing, but not truly portable.

He can hook up a camcorder battery to it for portability. And just because it's external doesn't mean it doesn't count - look at the portables that have the external cartridge...

Actually, it's pretty much exactly the same. I could make an extremely small portable n64, but it would have external batteries, an external cartslot, probably an external controller, and and external screen.
