If I bought a game boy advanced and a Nintendo can I take both of them apart and add them to the same portable? If I only added one volume and just added a couple pieces from the advanced. Then there would be a little switch to turn on the game boy advanced and another for the Nintendo 64. So there would be two systems in one. I can connect the game boy advanced to the A and B of Nintendo 64. I would make a d pad for its use. SO really I would only have to add some wires and the main board. I was wondering if this would be possible?

yes, but you'd need some type of converter for the screen signals. it is very possible, though

The Game boy advanced only uses a d-pad, A, B, and a start button. So wouldn't I just hook up the game boy advanced to those controls and the volume plus the main board for it to work? Sorry for all the questions just trying to get some information on stuff before I start anything. I want to be perfectly sure that I have all the information or my mold won't come out right because I missed something important.

So what, the GBA doesn't have L and R buttons?

Yeah, it does just forgot to include that into the list. It also has a select button which I would make next to the start button. The select button is the only piece in which I would have to add to my portable from the game boy advanced

Yes, it can be done, Bacteria did that. You would be copying him. He had a lot of trouble with it though, and I remember him saying that it wasn't worth it. You would have troubles with the buttons being used for both systems.

first, is it new?
is it used?
is it refurbished?
if you answer anyone of these questions with yes, then NO.
why? too expensive! go on ebay and search for this: portable dvd player AS IS :
usually they don't play movies anymore, and they're being sold for no more than 20 dollars. just make sure that they have some type of video input
as for the batteries, if they have no info on the batteries, then i don't recommend using those batteries. the batteries can be bought just as easily cheap, and have a whole lot more power. search on ebay :sony NP-F970 battery:
i got one that was 7.4 volts and 6600mAh, and only 18 dollars. that is probably your bast bet concerning batteries for portables; they are usually in cells and the cells are usually small. with those, you can just solder the whole circuit back together with longer wire and place the cells where ever you want it, so you have more room for the guts of your portable

NOTE: you will either need the original charger or a charge protection circuit for the camcorder batteries, that can be bought online for $10

Thanks for the names that will save me a lot of money. I read a few of the dvd player's problems and I was wondering it says it can turn on but can't read the disc. Is that in any way related to the screen?

nope, the disc issue is no way harming the screen. just make sure it has a video input, though

Hey, You are talking about this battery right
http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Battery-For-SON ... 2|294%3A50" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Also, Is this considered the original battery charger?
http://cgi.ebay.com/Battery-Charger-for ... 2|294%3A50" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Also, the dvd player I am getting has a composite input and a digital audio optical input. NO s-video input. Is that still ok?

I have read up on this lob64, but I really don't understand it much. (Whats new). Is this lob64 just a ethernet port that comes from a computer? Then you hook it up to some part of the portable?
