RGB scrolling problem

I am not sure what you are asking about those transistors. Which way they will face? It shouldn’t matter as long as the correct pins are connected to the right place in the circuit. I believe that is ground, don’t hold me to that but it looks like it based on its placement. And finally yes a 25v cap will work. The voltage is merely a rating of how much it can handle. I believe the only difference would be that the 25v cap would be a bit larger.

Is this a 10uf capacitor: I have some 10uf capacitors, 25v - I presume these are ok?

Yes they are. You can replace an electrolytic capacitor with any other electrolytic capacitor as long as the new one's capacitance (farads) is the same, and the rated voltage is the same or greater.

I should get my components in the next days so can then rig them up and see if the RGB looks good; and let you guys know the results.

PS - see the unpainted case in my sig? Taking most of a can of spray paint to cover it all in red so it looks red!
