how to build a ps one portable

If you want a guide there is a long document you can get to from the sticky that will walk you through a ps1 portable. Look at Bacteria's build log and for the screen check in the screens forum for the screen sticky and also go to the extremetech website where a portion of ben's book about the psone screen has been posted (they're his publisher so its not illegal).

I am approaching the stage where I will be posting pics and more of my guide on the PSone screen and PSone console mobo in my project (next days). If you look on my website, in modding components section, look at the PSone screen section for connection pic. I will be covering it anyway in my project, especially as a lot of old info has since gone from here. My website will have a big makeover in the next month anyway.

I too have Ben's book; got it off an American e-bay seller a year ago; however i'm not referencing it: using my own work to work things out on my project; allows for more innovation. I am also going to have to mod the PSone screen mobo a bit, nothing great, but certainly different work than normal - will be covered in detail.

cool im working on my ps2p right know using a fat ps2 i think every thing is turning well now im just working on a case realy hard

You know I just made the template for my case out of clay. It's harder than it looks. Makes me appreciate your case more

I do this too. However, it can be helpful. Like when I opened my first PSOne screen i didn't know how to open it, because I didn't realize it had screws behind the speakers

hi dude you mocked me in the past look what im almost finishing a ps2p fat you dont know how many months i actualy worked on the dvd drive YES THE DVD DRIVE! i made it work without these stupid disc drawers

you do realize that "in the past" was yesterday, right?
and that just yesterday you were asking for exact wiring pictures... so yeah, I kinda doubt you did anything successfully in the past few months

but you got to admit turning a ps2 fat into a portable is kinda hard
