Listening to your ipod in the car

no. in my experience not at all! ive used belkin fm transmitter (the 20$ one from walmart) and it had pisspoor range and mediocre at best sound quality, lots of static regardless of the station set on too. also have a cheap 10$ one from target that works better but still not as good of sound as the tape adapter.

I had one too (unsure of which brand) and it was really crappy. I had the same problems as Jon listed above plus the battery life was abysmal; I think it drained battery life even when it was "off"

We got a Sony FM transmitter a few years ago for our old car (AM/FM, no cassette or CD player), and it plugged into the lighter outlet. It worked well enough, and didn't need batteries.

FM Transmitters suck.

Unless you payed $50+ for it.

Get one of those Phillips Cassette things at Walmart for like $11, My friend got one for his car and sound quality actually surprised me considering it was though the Cassette Player.

You got lucky on that 6 CD changer, why even risk breaking it? I know you got it free, but I would Kill to have a 6 CD changer in my car. (if I had one)

Geez I just now realized that ALL my friends and Buddies have cars, and not a single one doesn't have a car.

Well, Either I'm going to figure out how to do it myself, or pay the $50 and have circuitcity install it. So, then I wouldn't need a CD player anyway.
