the first programmer you listed kurt is no good for most of the eproms used in the reproductions ( in snes carts at least) it needs to be able to burn the 27cxxx eproms
I use 27c801

Yeah, no clue about this stuff. The first one looks pretty homemade. The second one can do just about everything, though. And it's USB.
