Project BATARANG (PS3 Boomerang Remake) FINISHED

Hmm, my hands do sweat when playing games and I would hate to leave a mark on the controller. Do you have any better pictures of a project with the Interior/Exterior Aerosol used on it?

Also, I know I have to use the color Silver (OBVIOUSLY xD), but are their certain shades of Krylon Fusion Silver? (If so, what shade do you recommend?)

i use the normal krylon interior/exterior aerosol for my projects. you can look at pics of the handyduo link 2 or handygear for a better idea. the white is flat and the gray is gloss.

i use krylon primer also. they have 4 colors in my local walmart.

the painting process varies from person to person. depends on how perfectionist you are. some use several coats of primer, to get it silky smooth before painting. to accomplish this, you use light coats of primer and sand with high grit between coats. after it meets your approval, you move on to the paint. some use super high grit between coats and some wet sand between coats. it's just all up to preference. but, most all of us use light coats with high grit between.

Yeah, I can actually see this one happening, I just wonder what you are going to use for your base plastic for the boomerang main frame........After all, the rest is just cutting holes and bondo/epoxying in!

You say that about EVERYTHING, yet I've never actually seen you use your miscellaneous "ways" to complete ANY of your projects...

Update: I'm still awaiting parts, but I have came up with a few ideas in the ergonomic department. I have decided to make the controller:

Slightly thicker/wider (due to my big hands, and because the old controller looked too small.)

And some small tweaks to the look and feel of the controller.

I've decided not to say much about the thread, due to basic privacy. I don't feel comfortable talking about my work.

Also, this is for all the people going off topic and talking about my other stuff.

I don't think work on this project is needed to be top secret. I mean who would want that it never came back for a reason. Also the only part that is semi interesting is you finishing a project as many of your "omg i am so building this to completion" projects have been scrapped. The only thing I want to see is you make a case.

Update: I've started to fiddle around with some drivers (since I'm still awaiting parts in the mail.)

Editing drivers isnt hard. I was tempted to use GlovePIE or another program that allows me to map buttons easily and such, but I'd rather have an .exe handle all the drivers.

So, I kindly asked my Coding teacher at school. Hes going to give me some tips over email, sometime soon. This driver part is the hardest part. The PS3 will recognize this controller, but I have to make drivers so that windows will recognize it. (As I want to use it as a windows controller also.)

Maybe I'll get on engadget or something.

Maybe, I'll sell a few of these.

Update: Just found out it takes 7-14 days for the package to arrive. Jeez, the websites shipping method takes so long compared to a year ago. Whatever. Its been 7 days so far. So its coming soon.
