That "If you own it, you can download it" rule is crap. You are allowed to back it up if and only if you are able to do so yourself. Quit spreading false laws. Downloading ROMs is not the same as making a backup (the latter is provided for in law, though ROM data may not be provided for, since it shouldn't need to be backed up... as you can't overwrite it and commercial ROMs are permanent).

I disagree. I am a game developer, and I enjoy it.

And to those discussing the copyright laws: You are allowed to make a single backup copy of a piece of software ON THE SAME MEDIUM AS THE ORIGINAL. So a GBA game can only be backed up onto another GBA cartridge, not onto a hard disk drive.
