Why cardboard? You could easily do it out of plastic or plexiglass. Still looks pretty nice though.

zate 2.5'' LCD.. from ebay... costs way too much for what it is

Yes, I found 3" screens the same price as 5" ones; and frankly, 5" screens are better anyway (you can immerse yourself in a game better with the larger screen).

but a 2.5 inch screen costs twice as much as a 5" screen. :(

I have one of those handheld TVs... except it doesn't appear to have A/V capabilities... :(

Quite a while to wait though!

The one I got for £1 from a car boot sale had a 1.8" screen, far too small to be useful!
