I just wear socks indoors, in canada though I guess wearing shoes and slippers inside is required because of the extreme cold you guys get.

Erm...you have it backwards. Americans are the shoe-wearers. I'm sure not ALL parts. *Cough* Louisiana stereotypes *cough*

I only wear shoes when feel like it, but it doesn't matter if I am inside or out I will wear them and not care.

Inside a house, I don't wear shoes unless I'm only going to be there for a few minutes. Outside, I usually wear shoes unless I'm just taking out the garbage or something quick. At places like school and stores, I wear shoes.

95% of the time while I'm at home. I'm bearfoot and wearing a pair of shorts.

3% of the time I'm socks.

2% of the time I'm wareing shoes

I do and sometimes I don't. Majority of the time if I do have my shoes on, it's because I'm getting ready or was planning on going somewhere so I put them on. Otherwise I walk around in just my socks or my slippers.

As for other people's homes, it's customary that I take my shoes off, and I expect to, but I ask 90% of the time.

I wear Chucks, so putting them on and taking them off is a pain sometimes. I have to take them off this time of year, because nobody likes melting snow all over the house. I've been trying to make a habit of it though.

I think I've self-corrected my high instep from wearing chucks...

I don't own any shorts. Even when it's 30+ C (Think that's around 85 F) I still wear jeans (BLACK jeans :P).
