Which it can't. The newest system people have mentioned it being able to emulate is the N64 (there has also been talk of emulating of DS and even PSP though).

Very doubtful. I don't even know of many working PS2 emulators for PCs, never mind a modified ARM architecture processor paired with 128 MB of RAM.

But back on topic, the Touch is a fun toy in itself but you have to modify it if you want it to be useful. It's the PSP of PDAs.

I actually lol'ed at that. The pandora looks more like a just a dream console if they are serious about releasing this thing in march. What all can the Touch do with jailbreak anyway?

No messing with firmware (although that isn't really too hard), more powerful (will most likely be able to emulate N64 fullspeed and possibly DS (although I can imagine that it'd be really awkward); PSP can sort of do N64 half-speed without sound) and OpenGL compliant, way better screen (same exact size but 800x480 instead of 480x272) with better response time (don't remember the exact numbers), dual analog controls, supposedly ridiculous battery life (although no numbers have been released), dual SDHC slots, USB 2.0 host, and it's Linux-based OS will be compatible with anything in the Debian ARM repositories.

What do you mean by "actual work"? It's been under development for about a year, with some renders of the rough design released recently on openpandora.ca and openpandora.org. There was a ridiculous 300+ page thread about it on GP32X.com, but now it has it's own section.

It's not in production yet, if that's what you're asking. They have all the necessary parts finalized (screen, analog sticks, SoC), but not the design.
