I hate how developers shove all their big releases during the holiday season to boost sales. Thankfully they are only offering Rock Band as a bundle this year, so I should be able to avoid it until '08. Otherwise, I would have liked to give Eternal Sonata a shot, but just can't justify buying it at this time. I guess there's always the used bin someday though.
I must say, I agree with you on Eternal Sonata; it looks very cool! I've heard it's fairly linear, though, which isn't something I'm too fond of in RPGs... maybe someday I'll find out for myself!
